Lankford v. Reladyne et al. – Case No. 1:14cv682

Mansell Law pursued claims of discrimination and retaliation under the Family Medical Leave Act on behalf of a former employee of Reladyne. Following a jury trial, Mansell Law succeeded in obtaining a unanimous jury verdict and a total award of $521,000 in compensation.

Smith v. Superior Tool & Die

Mansell Law filed an action on behalf of its client, a former employee of Superior Tool & Die, pursing claims of race discrimination and retaliation under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. A jury returned a unanimous verdict in the Mansell Law’s client’s favor. Total compensated recovered: $600,000.00

Clark v. Shop 24 Global et al. – Case No. 2:12-cv-00802

Mansell Law pursued claims for unpaid overtime based upon an employee’s misclassification under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Ohio law. Following a jury trial, Mansell Law obtained a unanimous jury verdict in favor of its client, recovering a total of $204,365 in compensation.

Williams v. Sims Bros. – Case No. 3:11cv332

Mansell Law pursued claims against Sims Bros., alleging the company discriminated and retaliated against its former employee in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). A unanimous jury agreed and awarded Mansell Law and its client $535,823.00 in compensation.

Sexual Harassment Arbitration

Mansell Law filed an action against a client’s former employer, pursuing claims of sexual harassment and retaliation under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Mansell Law succeeded in proving its client’s claims in an arbitration and secured an award of $465,880 in compensation.

Brantell et al. v. Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections

Mansell Law pursued the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections on behalf of a group of State Registered Nurses, alleging a practice of improper time-shaving before and after their shifts, resulting in unpaid overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The matter was resolved for total award of $395,000.00.

Collective Action for Unpaid Overtime

On behalf of a group of manual laborers, Mansell Law brought an action against their employer for a failure to pay the laborers for time spent on administrative tasks, which resulted in unpaid overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The matter was resolved for a total award of $235,000.00.

Religious Discrimination

Mansell Law filed a lawsuit against its client’s former employer, alleging she was discriminated and retaliated against on the basis of her religion and sincerely-held religious beliefs under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The matter resolved for a total award of $285,000.00 in compensation.
